Blacklisted Online Casinos

My blacklist is a place for the most unethical of Internet casinos.

Blacklist Rules

blacklisted online casinosMy blacklist is a place for the most unethical of Internet casinos. Reasons for inclusion on the blacklist include:

  • Game results are not consistent with a random game.

I expect all casinos to offer a fair game as evidenced by the fact that the cards or dice observed fall in line with statistical norms.

  • Non-payment of legitimate gambling winnings.

Granted the word "legitimate" is rather vague. I would prefer to say "any" gambling winnings, but many online casinos have a policy to not honor winnings in the case of extremely aggressive bonus abuse. While I strongly feel that casinos should honor their own rules, I want this list to consist of casinos that are significantly worse than the industry norm. Seizing deposits, or prior gambling winnings to the current withdrawal, are not acceptable, and justify blacklisting. More information about legitimate casinos.

  • Non-payment of affiliate royalties.

Internet casinos typically pay advertisers according to how many players they deliver or how much those players lose. It is not unusual for untrustworthy casinos to short-pay their affiliates, either by changing the commission formula retroactively in their own favor, or simply to stop paying without explanation. Either way, a casino that can not be trusted to pay their advertising debts also cannot be trusted to pay winning players, in my opinion.

  • Stealing web site content (typically mine).

With the introductions out of the way, here is the Blacklist, starting with the most recently added:

Pelican Casino

Pelican Casino was caught offering fake games from 12 renowned gaming studios, including NetEnt, Microgaming, and Aristocrat. It highlights that Pelican Casino operated with a questionable Curacao license and did not provide valid proof of legitimacy. The games were counterfeit versions, discovered by a sister site team, raising concerns about transparency and trustworthiness.

Wixiplay.io

Wixiplay.io is added to the blacklist by the Wizard himself for cheating and ignoring withdrawals. "How can they cheat with 'provably fair' games?" you might ask. For the answer to that question and the full story of this blacklisting, please visit Wixiplay.io Blacklisting.

Ace Revenue

Interesting fact: Uranus is the seventh planet in the solar system. Well, Planet 7 Casino certainly puts the word “anus” to correct use with their tactics. The casino has a terrible reputation for their payout speeds and management, having left several players in the lurch after trying to claim their legitimate winnings. Because of this, we have made the decision to warn players to avoid playing at this site, as it’s likely that you're going to see your winnings either severely delayed or outright denied.

Other Sister Brands

BetVictor

BetVictor has a long history of being a retail and online operator throughout the United Kingdom, having come up as a reputable group known as Victor Chandler. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse recently, as the group has put out a predatory set of terms for affiliates. This led to our company having affiliate commissions stolen, due to hidden termination clauses that weren’t there when we signed the agreement.

This has led to us blacklisting BetVictor. If they’re willing to steal from us, what’s to ensure that they’re not going to steal from players due to a hidden clause that they add after the fact? We highly recommend you avoid playing at this predatory site at all costs. You may not get ripped off right away, but the odds are good that you may be at some point in the future.

Staybet

Staybet Casino is a newer online betting site, but that doesn’t make it less terrible. The site has racked up a slew of player complaints related to non-payment of winnings, slow customer support response, and changing of terms and conditions when it favors the casino. Making matters worse is that the management of the casino has been unresponsive to our team when issues arise. This has led us to the conclusion that Staybet Casino and any future betting sites put out by the Stay Gaming Group should be avoided, at least until the company gets its act together and works in the best interest of its players.

Club World Group

The Club World group (also known as Affiliate Edge) used to put out high-quality casinos that serviced the American market. Unfortunately, things changed in 2016 when the company’s ownership ousted the management that oversaw the successful operation. Things then got worse when the company sought out assistance in running the casinos through the AffPower affiliate group, a known bunch of scammers that have run other brands into the ground.

Since that time, all Club World casinos have dropped in quality, making it hard to withdraw funds, seeing huge delays in payments, and stiffing affiliate sites (like ours) out of hard-earned payments. Because of this, we have taken the step of blacklisting all Club World casinos and urge players to look elsewhere.

Club World Casinos

GoWild Casino

GoWild Casino has been added to our blacklist because of predatory terms and conditions that have been revealed. The casino makes it hard to win without violating these arbitrary terms, which give the casino complete freedom to determine bonus abuse, fraudulent activity, and more. Furthermore, GoWild also has rules that discourage you from changing wager amounts. Because of this, we have blacklisted GoWild and urge players to bet at reputable gaming sites.

The initial report into GoWild’s practices was conducted by our sister site LCB, and that report can be found here.

VegasCasino.io

VegasCasino.io has been found to be offering pirated games to their customers. Needless to say, this is a major no-no, as it means that the math for the games can be altered to make them unfair. It’s also stealing from legitimate game developers, who put in time and money into developing quality games. We had some major doubts about VegasCasino because of their lack of a gaming license, and unfortunately, it looks like those concerns were founded. We urge all players to avoid playing at this bogus online casino.

Casino Girl

Casino Girl is the type of site you want to avoid. The casino has had years of complaints regarding payouts and support, and things have gotten even worse recently. We’ve discovered the casino is using pirated games, which are: unethical, illegal, and potentially rigged. We recommend you avoid playing at Casino Girl, as there’s a good chance this girl will take you for everything you have.

Burnbet

In June our sister site LCB caught Burnbet using pirated games, which are stolen from Novomatic, Aristocrat, and EGT. This is awful, and making matters even worse is the fact that the casino made it clear that they aren’t concerned about these games, and instead of immediately pulling the games, indicated that they’ll change platforms down the line. Because of this, we highly recommend you avoid playing at this bad online casino.

Raging Bull, Grand Fortune, and Malibu Club

Raging Bull, Grand Fortune, and Malibu Club have been acquired by The Virtual Casino Group which is already blacklisted by our site, which is a real shame as Raging Bull, Grand Fortune, and Malibu Club were all considered to be excellent casinos. The sites have been blacklisted due to recently verified payout issues. Players who’ve won money are seeing payout requests delayed or denied. This is unacceptable and has earned all three sites a spot on our blacklist page.

Boombet

Boombet Casino is a site that looks like it’s pretty decent on the surface, but looking further into the group’s dealings, we’ve found that the site is predatory. There are multiple baked in terms that limit the amount players can withdraw, high fees for withdrawal, and more. Making matters worse is the fact that the casino has delayed payout of legitimate winnings. We’ve blacklisted this site and urge players to avoid playing here.

Casino 1

Casino1 is a newer online betting site, but it has already proven itself as being a horrible casino. The site has been found to be offering pirated Net Ent games, which is both unethical and dangerous for players. Using rigged software is one of the fastest ways to work your way onto the blacklist, and we urge everybody to avoid playing at Casino1.

BitBingo

BitBingo is an online betting site that specializes in bingo but also has a full casino attached to it. Last month a player complained that the site was not paying out on a cashback bonus, and since that time it appears that the site has gone dark. Any messages sent to the casino, its representatives, and the support team have not been deliverable, leading us to believe this portion of the casino is down. This is unacceptable, as the site has not given any heads up to outside sources, leading us to put them on our blacklist.

Lake Palace Casino

Lake Palace is a casino that originally started out pretty decent, but has devolved into a cesspool of slow payouts, poor customer service, and predatory terms. Interestingly, many of these problems appeared after the group moved from Microgaming software to Saucify (rebranded from BetonSoft in 2014), which is substantially cheaper to license. We believe the group may be having financial difficulties, and because of this we have blacklisted this site and urge you to look elsewhere for places to play.

Le Bon Casino

Le Bon Casino is tied in with several other bad sites like Silver Oak, Royal Ace, and Planet 7, and has had a long history of poor support and extremely slow payments, which can take in excess of a month to be processed. As a result, we have blacklisted Le Bon Casino, and can’t tell you enough to avoid this predatory site.

Casino Grand Bay

Casino Grand Bay comes onto the blacklist with a reputation for not paying players the money that they rightfully won from the site. This was not always the case though, as the site at one point offered Microgaming software and had a solid history of treating players well. This changed once Microgaming shut down their US operations, as the casino was forced to adapt to inferior software. For some reason, this began a downward spiral for Casino Grand Bay, as they began stiffing players and providing bad customer support.

Gibson Casino

If you want to play at a bad online casino, look no further than Gibson Casino. The casino has a huge number of complaints against it, as countless players report that the casino fails to pay out legitimate winnings to players. Furthermore, the casino has been flagged by browsers like Google Chrome and Opera as being a potential phishing site, which means your personal and financial data is at risk whenever you go to their page. Our site, as well as almost every other reputable online casino review site,  has blacklisted Gibson Casino, and we highly urge all players to avoid this site.

Roadhouse Reels

Roadhouse Reels Casino is one of a series of sites that have been forced to shift its software to match regulatory concerns, and as a result, they have shafted both players and affiliates. The group previously used Microgaming software, but has since moved on to Saucify, which is a major step down in quality. This comedown has also impacted their ability to issue payouts effectively, as there are reports of players having to jump through many hoops to get their money.

Villa Fortuna

Villa Fortuna has been bouncing around on blacklists and warning areas for the better part of a decade, and with good reason. The site has had a very long history of offering a poor experience to players, as the casino has very slow payout times, poor customer support, and just a general cheapness when it comes to the presentation of the site. Things have sadly gotten even worse recently, making it clear that any and all players should avoid playing at this awful casino.

Rome Casino

Rome Casino is a site that players would be wise to avoid. The casino's payout policies are very poor, and our sister sites have many players that have complained of very slow and non-payouts of winnings. In late 2016, the casino re-branded itself to Rome VIP Casino, but the same poor policies in place will leave players feeling anything like they're very important. There are a lot of other good casinos out there, and American players can find some spots that are way more reliable than this rogue joint.

Royal Ace

There are some major issues taking place at Royal Ace Casino, as the casino’s staff has a history of not providing customer support. They also have extremely slow payout times for winnings, with time to receive funds hitting well over a month, which is simply unacceptable. These errors may be overcome with a new management team, but until we see some real change from this site, Royal Ace will be on our blacklist.

DomGame

When it comes to poor customer support, DomGame Casino may take the cake. The casino’s staff provides both wrong and misleading information, and the site has a history of also spamming player inboxes, which is unacceptable. Because of this, we have blacklisted DomGame Casino, and urge our players to choose a more reliable site for their gaming services.

WinBig21

There are some major issues taking place at WinBig21 Casino, as the site has repeatedly failed to pay out player winnings, and casino managers have abruptly stopped supporting player requests. Affiliate managers have also stopped giving players any assistance dealing with the issues, which has led to its blacklisting. Players need to stay away from this site, as playing here will only embolden them to continue their bad behavior.

Diceland VIP

Diceland VIP Casino has proven to be notoriously bad since it launched in 2009, providing poor customer support and slow and non-payments of winnings to players. These instances are not isolated, having been widespread enough to become the standard operating procedure for this casino, so we've opted to blacklist them in order to protect players with the hope that word reaches them before they deposit there.

Gold Betting Casino

We have taken the precautionary step of blacklisting Gold Betting Casino due to the site’s history of slow payouts of winnings as well as customer service that is about as poor as you’ll find. Reps are extremely slow to respond to help requests, and they are reluctant to give you any information to even basic questions. Combined with those slow payout times, we highly recommend all players avoid registering at this account.

Crazy Luck Casino

You’d be crazy to play at Crazy Luck Casino, as the casino has had numerous instances of slow and non-payments of winnings. Making things even worse are several reports of poor customer service, as reps flat out refuse to respond to requests, meaning that you’re likely throwing away your money by depositing at this rogue casino. There are many better sites to play at for American players, and we’d recommend you check those out.

Tropica, Cash o' Lot

In September of 2016, Tropica Casino as well as Cash o' Lot Casino were added to the blacklist, as their parent group Refilliates abruptly shut down their affiliate program, and were in talks to sell to a new group. This action, along with recent reports of winnings being confiscated mean that there is something fishy going on with these sites, and we are being proactive in protecting our readers from these rogue sites.

Pamper, BetDNA, AC, and Moneystorm Casino's

Latest Casino Bonuses found that Pamper Casino, which is operated by OPERIA COSTA RICA SOCIEDAD DE RESPONSABILIDAD LIMITADA', a subsidiary of Fisher Scientific Company L.L.C was using pirated software. This puts players at risk and victimizes legitimate online betting software developers, and because of this we have taken the steps of blacklisting Pamper Casino, BetDNA Casino, AC Casino, and Moneystorm Casino, as they are all operated by this rogue group.

Vegas Amped Casino

Vegas Amped Casino has proven to be extremely untrustworthy, as it has gone back on paying customer accounts for legitimate winnings, and those that do get paid often have complained of very slow payout times. Because of this, we have blacklisted Vegas Amped Casino from our site, and we recommend that you look elsewhere if you want to play.

Casino Atlanta

We have opted to blacklist Casino Atlanta, as the site has been proven to be using pirated Novamatic and Net Ent games. This puts players at extreme risk, as there is no way to verify whether or not the games are fair at a base level, and the bogus software also victimizes the true developers, who put time and resources into crafting quality games. Because of this, we strongly urge you to avoid playing at Casino Atlanta.

SuperBet Palace

Although everything may look on the up and up at SuperBet Palace Casino, things are not alright. The casino has a lack of a legitimate gaming license as well as several reports of slow and non-payment of winnings. This is enough for us to blacklist the casino, and we strongly urge you to avoid playing at this casino.

BTC Casino

Players often favor Bitcoin powered casinos because they offer nearly instant payouts of winnings and reasonable terms, in addition to privacy that is among the best in the business. Unfortunately, we have found that BTC Casino is almost completely the opposite of what makes these style of casinos so great. The casino has slow and non-payment history on winnings, which is completely unacceptable, and when we have tried to raise issue with the staff, we have gotten no response.

There are a number of great Bitcoin casinos out there, but we strongly urge you to avoid playing at BTC Casino and its sister site Pocket Dice.

Aff Power

Upon first glances, it may strike you as odd that Cosmik, EuroMoon, Atlantic Casino Club, Osiris, and Deuce Club casinos have all been added to our blacklist, as they all appear to be legitimate casinos offering big-name games from some of the world's top developers. Unfortunately, an investigation by our sister site Latest Casino Bonuses revealed that the group is using pirated Net Ent games, which victimizes not only players, but the company who spent time and resources creating the games as well.

Making things worse, Aff Power was informed of the issue and went so far as to register a domain that could be mistaken with Net Ent's legitimate host, furthering their involvement in the deception. Because of this we have blacklisted all Aff Power casinos and urge players to avoid playing at any of the above mentioned sites as the games could be rigged.

Twist and Vulkan Casino

In another piracy bust, Latest Casino Bonuses revealed that Twist Services Limited, the operator of Twist Casino and Vulkan Casino has been using bogus Novomatic casino games, while also claiming to be part of the EveryMatrix gaming platform.

Looking at the legitimate games versus the pirated versions, you can see that there are some small but important differences made to the screens of the slots, and players will also notice that the source coding on the games is different.

This is a flagrant and illegal on the part of Twist Games, and we have blacklisted both Twist Casino and Vulkan Casino as a result. We strongly urge you to avoid playing at either spot, as you're likely to be robbed through games that could very well be rigged.

Casino Lust

Casino Lust has been blacklisted through our site because they have not only shafted us in contractual agreements in regard to affiliate payments, but they have had a history of shafting players as well. Those unfortunate enough to deposit at Casino Lust are subject to slow and non-payment of winnings, poor customer support, and predatory terms meant to keep you from cashing out on bonuses. Because of this we urge you to avoid playing at Casino Lust.

Casino Royal Club

Casino Royal Club has fallen on our bad side for many of the same reasons other casinos are on our blacklist: they are slow to pay players, flat out deny legitimate winnings to players, and have poor service. There are many other online casinos that are reputable, and we highly urge you to visit these casinos rather than Casino Royal Club.

Atlantic Casino Club Blacklist

Atlantic Casino Club has been unceremoniously blacklisted by our site for offering pirated games from Net Ent. We ended up discovering this by checking the server that the games were coming from, and determining that the software was bogus and coming from a source outside of Net Ent. This is of grave concern, as it means that the games are potentially rigged, and that the casino is intentionally stealing from the developer. This is not the first instance of Atlantic Casino Club stealing either, as our sister site LCB notified them that they were using pirated Novomatic games last year. Because of this, we feel that it is very risky for you to play at this casino and recommend you play elsewhere.

Playsafe Holding AS, Norway - Break Away Casino, Connect2 Casino, and SciFi Casino

The case of Playsafe Holding As, Norway online casinos is interesting, in that their sites only offer a small sample size of Rival Gaming slots and casino games. Consisting of Break Away Casino, Connect2 Casino, SciFi Casino, Playsafe's casinos have all had a long history of slow and non-payment of winnings as well as poor customer service.

This group has a history of putting out enticing promotion offers, but if you can't cash out, what's the point? We urge everybody to avoid playing at these awful casinos.

NogaBet Casino

NogaBet Casino has a long history of offering slow and non-payment of legitimate winnings throughout the years. This, along with poor customer support makes NogaBet Casino a site that you would be in your best interests to avoid.

Mona Casino

Mona Casino is an online casino that has a history of making players wait a very long time to pay out winnings, with some players complaining of times exceeding 90 days. In addition to this, Mona Casino also has direct links on its site that may contain malware and viruses, making even visiting the site a risky proposition. Because of this we have made the decision to blacklist Mona Casino, and strongly urge players to avoid even visiting the site, let alone play there.

Curgam Group

The Curgam Group out of Costa Rica or Curacao (there's no way to be sure, as the casino group hides their origins) operates these six online casinos: 99 Slot Machines, Mighty Slots, Plenty Jackpots, Real Vegas Online, Slot Nuts, Slots Inferno.

These casinos are blacklisted by our site and most other reputable affiliate site for slow and non-payment of legitimate winnings, tiny limits on withdrawals, and a lack of a gaming license.

All of these reasons lead us to believe that the management behind the Curgam Group is up to no good, and for this reason we highly recommend that you avoid this casino and play at a more reputable site.

El Dorado Palace Casino

El Dorado Palace is an online casino that has proven to a bad spot to play at because of slow and non-payment of winnings, surly customer support, and a history of spamming players and affiliate sites.

Founded years ago, El Dorado Palace has taken several steps to hide the specifics regarding its operations. This is proven through having a domain based out of the Philippines, servers in Panama, and software out of Russia. This, combined with a lack of cooperation from casino management on the details of the company leads us to believe that El Dorado Palace's management is trying to hide something and is thus untrustworthy.

Players at El Dorado Palace Casino will also find predatory terms and conditions, which are designed to trap players into not being able to withdraw funds. Because of all of this, we strongly urge players to avoid playing at this blacklisted casino.

The Palace Group/Buffalo Partners

Update: In mid-2018, Fortune and Brightshare merged into Buffalo Partners, which has a bunch of brands that we have deemed as being untrustworthy toward players. Unfortunately, the group went on to change their marketing agreements with their partners for Fortune and Brightshare, just like they did with the shoddy Buffalo sites. Because of these moves, we have opted to blacklist these brands. Players are urged to avoid these sites, as there’s no way to be able to trust that they won’t take advantage of you.

The Palace Group or Buffalo Partners has been added to the Blacklist due to unfair business practices with their marketing business partners. No longer tolerant of unethical practices and due to the breach of contractual agreements, we have no other choice given this dishonorable reputation. As a result, we urge players to avoid all brands under this group, which includes:

It is advisable that this group of casinos strictly be avoided as players could end up with unresolved issues. Other reports also suggest the Terms & Conditions have changed whenever it is convenient for the Casino causing unfairness to the player.

AmigoTechs

Added April 14, 2015

I probably should have added Amigotechs three years ago when part one of this story occurred. In late 2011 a player of Youwwager complained that in 922 hands of 50-play jacks or better video poker he never once made a paying hand on the draw. The odds of this happening in a fair game are 1 in 434,095,228,338,431,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

A log file corroborated the player's story. Please see the report by Dr. Eliot Jacobson about it, which I assisted with, for more information. After the evidence was presented to them, Amigotechs told me that it was due to a software bug. I was skeptical but had reasonable doubt the claim of cheating was true so gave Amigotechs the benefit of the doubt.

Fast forward to April 2015 and a similar complaint was made at The Pogg. A player reported playing 2 Ways Royal 560 times and never had a hand greater than a two pair. Amigotechs uses the same 99.80% pay table that Playtech does. A log file, available at ThePOGG, corroborated the accusation.

Assuming optimal strategy, the probability that any one hand is a two pair or less in that game is 89.02319%. The probability of going 560 hands without beating a two pair is 0.8902319560 = 1 in 18,977,313,106,520,400,000,000,000,000.

The log files in both cases suggest software that guarantees a casino profit by holding back wins if casino revenue is not up to certain levels by random chance. I'm not saying this is what is going on, just that what I'm seeing is indicative of it. Regardless of how these games are programmed, Amigotechs blew their second chance with me.

Moore Games

Added May 20, 2013

The first I heard of Moore Games is when a friend of mine complained that after a win of 9,000 Euros. It took four months to receive the first 5,000 of it. Then, suddenly, with no play, the account balance was zero. The casino told the player they had log files to prove he lost the money gambling, but my friend vehemently denies this, and any such log files would be fake.

Coincidentally, at the same time, The Pogg was investigating a very similar complaint from another winner who had 24,000 Euros mysteriously disappear. The casino sent a denial to the Pogg, and ignored follow-up efforts. The Pogg was basically put in a "he said - she said" situation. However, he uncovered the fact that the gaming license from Curacao was revoked on May 13, which made blacklisting much easier.

I wrote to Moore Games three times to ask for their version of both disputes. The first two attempts were ignored and the third, sent on May 20, 2013, bounced back. I also note that the Moore Games web site went down on that same date. So, maybe this warning may be too late, but if Moore Games still exists, I recommend you stay away, and current players withdraw your funds, if you still can.

SkillOnNet Software

Added Dec. 15, 2012

SkillOnNet software is added because of a double-or-nothing feature in their games that is not consistent with statistical norms. After allegations of a win rate well under 50% at CasinoMeister, an independent investigation was conducted by The Pogg. In 303 double-or-nothing games the player won 108 times and lost 193 times. The probability of luck this bad, or worse, is 1 in 1,008,339.

Casinos using SkillOnNet software include EU Casino, Casino Red Kings, Mega Casino, Win 7, Oxygen 9, Play Million, Simba Games, Queen Vegas, Vegas Winner, Luna, BG Room.

BLR Technologies Software

Added Nov. 2, 2011

Game results are not consistent with a random game. Sportsbooks using the BLR casino are World Wide Wagering and Legends. For more on my investigation, please see my page on BLR Technologies.

Ultimate Bet

Added June 9, 2008

Both Ultimate Bet (UB) and Absolute Poker (AP) (see below) are owned by the same parent company, Tokwiro Enterprises. The cheating and alleged cover-up at AP was also occurring at UB. A UB player by the handle "NioNio" stole millions from other players, by way of super-user access, which allowed him/her to see his opponent's hole cards. His win rate was many orders of magnitude better than the best poker players on earth. Yet, this went on undetected, and perhaps aided by insiders, at UB for months. It took the player community to expose what was going on. If UB/AP wish to refute any of this, I would be happy to print their corrections or comments.

More information on Ultimate Bet cheating scandal:

Absolute Poker

Added November 30, 2007

Absolute Poker was placed on the Black List because of a hole-card scandal, and the denial that followed. Anybody can make mistakes or be hit by holes in security. However Absolute Poker had glaring evidence that a particular player was playing with evidence of competitors hole cards, and still denied it. For more information, please see my Absolute Poker investigation.

Virtual Casino Group

Added Nov 13, 2007

This group of casinos is blacklisted for slow-paying and not paying players at all. I defer to the Casinomeister for the details. One of the many affected players is a good friend of mine, who has been owed money by three of these casinos for years. Virtual casinos are: Dream Casino (formally Cirrus), Prism Casino, Cool Cat Casino, Palace of Chance, Club Player, Vip Lounge, Bet Royal Casino, and SlotsofVegas.com.

Update Sep 25, 2023:

BG Global, Bet Royal

Added October 25, 2007 for non-payment of winnings.

These two sportsbooks claim a group of players were all following the same radio handicapper in Connecticut, and such "syndicate" play is against the rules. In my opinion, this is a ridiculous reason for non-payment. Some handicappers have huge followings, who all bet the same way when the picks are released. Take your losses like a man and pay, for crying out loud!

All Elka System/Oyster Gaming Casinos

After getting some anecdotal evidence that Netgaming.com was cheating in free play mode I gave them a try. In their single zero roulette game, I placed 200 bets on red. My results were 133 wins and 67 losses. The probability of 133 or more wins in 200 spins is 1 in 3,788,515. So obviously they were letting me win. I blame the software for this and thus add all Elka/Oyster Gaming casinos to my blacklist. Besides this reason, they have had a terrible reputation in the industry for years. Furthermore one of their clients, NetGaming, sold me out to pornography spammers. I used to maintain a list of Elka/Oyster casinos here but checking a random sampling of about ten 100% had vanished. So I believe this group to be fortunately defunct.

"Start Your Own Casino" Casinos

Start Your Own Casino software by their own admission can guarantee the operator a specified minimum win. As stated on their web site, "Our proprietary random number generator is calculating your profit before the winning/losing number is sent back to the game. You can set a minimum profit that is always kept for you! This also ensures that you will not wake up with $20000 debts!" Thus the games cannot be completely fair and random. I used to list three casinos using this software, but all three links are dead, as of July, 2009.

All MGM Gaming Systems casinos

The Wizard of Odds recommends you to not play joker poker at all casinos that use MGM Gaming Systems software. Based on my play at Transnet Casino (click here for full story) I very strongly believe that this software is not playing a fair game of Joker Poker. Besides Transnet other casinos that use this software include Axel, Casimodo Palace, Casino XO, Lazarus, Master Blackjack, Moon Palace, Paradise Players, Players Palace, Tiger Dragon, and Vino. (Update: All these casinos, fortunately, seem to have vanished)

All Vegas Strip Internet Casinos

I played at Cleopatra's Casino when they had a $100 bonus for $100 deposit promotion. I ran my balance up to $300 and cashed out. The $200 in bonus/winnings arrived 20 days later by Fed Ex, with an apology for taking so long. As usual with Real Time Gaming casinos everything went very smoothly and the bonus was paid quickly and without fuss. However, I got a complaint from a player in July 2001 saying he responded to a Cleopatra promotion through this site. The player in question claims they refused payment of winnings and ignored all his inquiries. I put in an inquiry myself about the situation, which they never responded to. Failure to respond to my inquiry is just cause for me to remove my endorsement. This casino is part of the "Vegas Strip" family of casinos, a group I have been hearing a lot of complaints about. The GameMaster reports they have refused to pay winnings to players just for living in Denmark (a country known for Internet casino fraud). Other Vegas Strip casinos include America's Online Casino, Cleopatra's Casino, Club Regal Casino, eWorld Casino, and Club Mardi Gras Casino. Last date played: May 9, 2001. (Real Time Gaming software)

Casino Bar

When I played at Casino Bar on May 27, 2002, and December 13, 2002, the evidence will show that I didn't get a fair game of blackjack. Three other webmasters also tested them and the results were also not in line with a fair game. For the entire story please visit Casino Bar investigation. Date last played: December 13, 2002 (C.O.A World Entertainment software). As of July, 2009, Casino Bar seems to have vanished.

I Think I'm Being Cheated

Since 1997, the Wizard and his team have been trying to keep the gaming business clean of cheating, both online and in land casinos, as this page shows. While most accusations we get of foul play look more like bad luck to us, we still are open to looking at credible evidence. If you feel you're the victim of an unfair game, please fill out our complaint form and we'll evaluate your claim.
