Dragon Gaming Review

Introduction

Dragon Gaming has been operating since 2019. Previously they seem to have operated from the Philippines, but today they are listed as a company in Cyprus. They offer a mixed variety of games to local and global audiences. Their products include games of chance, scratch cards, skill games, slots, and table games. These games are quite widely available, and the company has established themselves as a reliable operator with hundreds of partners.

Besides producing their own games, the company has also functioned as a third party studio, creating content for other software providers. Those days do seem to be in the past now that they have established themselves in the casino markets, with a rather strong portfolio at that too.

The company doesn’t seem to hold a licence, nor is there much information about their RNG server or who has tested it.

Table Games

The company offers a dozen or so titles spread across roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker. The first two of these are the most numerous, with a handful of options to pick from.

Roulette

Dragon Gaming offers a total of five different versions of roulette.

European Roulette

The standard version of roulette, with a house edge of 2.70%.

European Roulette Deluxe

This seems to be entirely similar to the game above, with the exception that the betting limits are higher.

American Roulette

Much the same game as European Roulette, with the exception that it has the added 00 pocket. There’s not much point playing this game, as the only difference is a higher house edge.

Dragon Roulette

Visually slightly different from the other roulette games, this version comes with one notable change. On every round the Dragon launches fireballs onto the table, covering up to five random numbers. Each of these then gets a random multiplier, up to 100x. The RTP follows European Roulette, being 97.30%.

Double Dragon Roulette

Same as above, but with the double zero added into the game. Again, it doesn’t make much sense to play this version, as all it features is a higher house edge.

Blackjack

There are four different versions of blackjack, and they offer similar modifiers as the roulette games.

Blackjack

The standard version of blackjack with a house edge of 0.5%. Nothing out of the ordinary, but well enough graphics and interface to be considered modern.

Blackjack Deluxe

Visually different from the normal blackjack, with a very simplified but useful interface. The house edge remains 0.5%, and the betting limits are the same.

Blackjack Perfect Pair 21+3

Once again slightly different interface, quite mobile-friendly. House edge is 0.5%, but do notice that the game also has the added side bets of Perfect Pair and Poker. The first one checks if the cards are the same value, colour, or both.

The poker bet offers five possibilities, which can pay up to 100 times the bet. Naturally, the house edge in these side bets are different, though not revealed in game information.

Dragon Blackjack

This game is still under development, but is rumored to offer similar multipliers as in Dragon Roulette.

Free Bet Blackjack

In this game, the player can double (on a hard 9 to 11) or split (anything except 10's) for free. The catch is if the dealer draws to 22 any bets still standing will push. Dragon Gaming claims the game has a house edge of 1.55%. Under the standard rules, I get a house edge of 1.04%. For more information, please see my page on Free Bet Blackjack.

Baccarat

The company offers a single version of baccarat, with RTP of 99.50%. No surprise here, just the basic baccarat.

Poker

Three card poker is currently the only game available in this category. The player can place three different bets, with the goal of having a better hand than the dealer. Return to player depends on the bet, and can be as high as 97.99%.

Casino War

A five-spot version of Casino War is offered, which they call "Casino War Multi-Hand." Based on their press release and video, I can't tell the number of decks nor what they do in the event of a tie after a tie, so I can't calculate the house advantage. Their promotional literature claims a RTP (Return to Player) of 98.83%. This is suspiciously high. Either the figure is wrong or they pay a nice bonus for a tie after a tie.

Skill Games

This category currently includes two games: Touchdown Blitz and SkyHigh. Both offer RTP of 97%. Both of these are crash games, where the skill is simply the player determining when to cash out, before the multiplier crashes. Top wins in both cases are 10 000 times the bet.

Scratch Cards

Dragon Gaming offers half a dozen scratch cards. All of these are based on a 3x3 grid, and seem to offer much the same payouts topping at 6500 times the bet. Make note that this prize is dependent on the bonus feature, which usually gives the player bonus games with random multipliers. RTP is the same 95% in each game, suggesting that the only difference between each scratch card is simply the theme it presents.

Chance Games

Currently encompasses a single game called Eggsplosion. This seems to be a simple pick-a-prize game, with an added fortune wheel. RTP currently not known.

Slots

Slots are by far the more numerous casino gaming selection when it comes to Dragon Gaming. However, they are not exactly the most diverse. Whilst graphics and sound effects are modern, and the games run just as well on mobile as they do on desktop, the basic features are pretty much from the era of classic slots.

This means that they’re all either using the 3x3 or 5x3 grid. And naturally this also means that paylines are used. These come in varying numbers, usually between ten and twenty. Bonus features include bonus spins and jackpots, but rarely anything more than this.

Return to player depends on the individual game. Some go as low as 94% whilst others reach all the way into 97%. Make sure to check this game by game to minimise the house edge for your benefit.

Conclusion

When it comes to general qualities like graphics and sound effects, these games tend to fare pretty well against the competition. The same applies to usability, as most of the table games are completely mobile-friendly.

There are a couple of interesting features in the form of side bets, which applies to both roulette and blackjack. Other games tend to stick to the basics. The crash games might be of interest if you’re looking for something new. Otherwise, this is a pretty standard selection of casino games, not offering much beyond what is already available via other software providers.

Gibson Casino is highly problematic, with numerous complaints from players who report that the casino refuses to pay out legitimate winnings. It has also been flagged by browsers like Google Chrome and Opera as a potential phishing site, putting personal and financial data at risk. As a result, it has been blacklisted by reputable online casino review sites, including ours. In September 2016, the affiliate program was abruptly shut down, leaving the website inactive. There were plans in May to sell the Refilliates brands and launch a new licensed casino, BetReels, but due to the lack of transparency and sudden disappearance, we strongly recommend avoiding BetReels and any associated brands.

Winbig21 Casino

This casino has demonstrated ongoing issues with processing payments and maintaining reliable communication. Withdrawals, when approved, are often split into smaller portions, extending the overall payout timeframe. Players have reported needing to repeat the withdrawal process multiple times, causing significant delays. Affiliate commissions also remain unpaid, with messages going unanswered. Due to these persistent concerns, we advise players to exercise extreme caution.
