Honey Bonus is a blackjack side bet I saw at live dealer blackjack tables by BetConstruct, a provider of games to Internet casinos. Wins are usually based on the player's initial two cards and the dealer's up card. An exception is the win for a suited blackjack must comprise the player's initial two cards.
- Ordinary 52-card decks are used.
- For purposes of the Honey Bonus, cards are ranked as in poker, with aces high or low.
- The pay table is as follows:
- Three of a Kind — Pays 20 to 1
- Straight — Pays 10 to 1
- Flush — Pays 5 to 1
- Suited blackjack in player's two cards — Pays 3 to 1
The following table shows my analysis for the Honey Bonus, played with eight decks of cards, as used by BetConstruct. The lower right cell shows a house edge of 13.51%.
