Sharp Shooter

sharp-shooter-example3.png.jpg
Sharp Shooter

Sharp Shooter is a simple dice game where the player tries to roll the same faces as a dealer throw of three dice. For all the rules and odds, please see my Sharp Shooter page. The bottom line is a house edge of 4.40%.

Six Shooter

six-shooter-example3.png.jpg
Six Shooter

This is another game that I think is unique to 1X2. The object is to throw the dice until every die face represented in a dealer roll of six dice has been rolled by the player. The fewer the rolls, the more the player wins. If it sounds similar to you, it is the same as Sharp Shooter. The difference is that in this game any face rolled by a player will eliminate ALL of that face in the dealer roll, not just one of them. To pay for that, the pay table is not as high.

Odd One In

odd-one-in.png.jpg
Odd One In

Odd One In is a sort of like roulette played with cards. All bets depend on the total of two cards. There are a host of bets to choose from, depending on the card total and whether the cards are suited. However, all of them require an odd total to win. For all the rules and odds, please see my Odd One In page. The house edge varies between 2.26% and 13.12%, so choose your bets carefully.

1x2 Gaming has five different keno games to choose from. However Keno, Kenotronic, KenoLab, and Jackpot Keno all have exactly the same rules and pay tables. They differ in graphics and sound only. Here is the pay table for those games. The return is shown in the bottom row. As you can see, the greatest return is for a pick-3 at 95.81%.

The fifth keno game is Keno Kickoff. It is like convention 80/20 keno, except they reduce from ball range to 40 and the ball draw to 10. What is interesting is they keep the pay table the same as their other keno games. In the case of the pick one, the return is the same. Otherwise, it is up to 8.89% less. So, I would suggest if you must play keno, don't play this one. If you must, the greatest return is for a pick-2 at 93.27%.

astro-roulette.png.jpgchinese_roulette.png.jpgcrystal_roulette.png.jpgelectronic_roulette.png.jpgroulette_titanium.png.jpgroulette-master.png.jpgeuropean-roulette.png.jpg

There are several roulette games to choose from. All of them, except European roulette, are based on the single-zero roulette model with a house edge of 2.70% on every bet.

European roulette has the French rule that if the ball lands in zero, then the player loses half only on even money bets. This lowers the house edge to 1.35% on the even money bets and remains at 2.70% for the rest.

Astro Roulette and Chinese Roulette are also based on a wheel with 37 slots. Both have three slots for each of the 12 months, plus a single slot labeled infinity. All the bets pay the same odds as single-zero roulette for a house edge of 2.70%.

Sic Bo

sic-bo.png.jpg
Sic Bo

1X2 Gaming is one of the few software providers to offer sic bo.

Following is a list of bets offered, the odds, and house edge.

  • Small and Big: These bets follow the usual rules of paying 1 to 1 if total is under/over 10.5, but both sides lose on a three of a kind. House edge is 2.78%.
  • Single Number: This bet pays according to how many times a specific chosen die face appears. The stingy Atlantic City 1-2-3 pay table is followed for a house edge of 7.87%.
  • Domino: This bet wins if two chosen die faces appear and it pays the usual 5 to 1 odds for a house edge of 16.67%.
  • 4 and 17: Pays 60 to 1 for a house edge of 15.28%.
  • 5 and 16: Pays 30 to 1 for a house edge of 13.89%.
  • 6 and 15: Pays 17 to 1 for a house edge of 16.67%.
  • 7 and 14: Pays 12 to 1 for a house edge of 9.72%.
  • 8 and 13: Pays 8 to 1 for a house edge of 12.50%.
  • 9 and 12: Pays 6 to 1 for a house edge of 18.98%.
  • 10 and 11: Pays 6 to 1 for a house edge of 12.50%.
  • Double: This bet pays the Atlantic City odds of 10 to 1 if a chosen die face occurs at least twice. The house edge is 18.52%.
  • Any triple: This bet pays 30 to 1 if any three of a kind is rolled for a house edge of 13.89%. The layout says this bet pays both 30 to 1 as well as 6 to 1. I'm inclined to believe the 30 to 1. I think they got confused -- six is the number of winning combinations.
  • Specific triple: This bet pays 180 to 1 if a specified three of a kind is rolled for a house edge of 16.20%.

These pays are fairly standard. My advice is that if you must play this game, stick to the Small and Big bets, with a house edge of 2.78%. The house edge on the other bets range from 7.87% to 18.98%.

TXS Hold 'Em

txs-hold-em.png.jpg
TXS Hold 'Em

This is a new poker-based game I've never seen before. However, comparisons to Casino Hold 'Em would be easy to make. Both have exactly the same betting structure. The difference is that TXS Hold 'Em does not have a dealer qualifying hand but the Ante requires a winning straight or higher to win.

I haven't analyzed this one yet but can tell you that the game help file states the return is 99.47%.

Baccarat

baccarat.png.jpg
Baccarat

The usual baccarat rules are followed. The number of decks used is six. The tie bet pays the usual, yet stingy, 8 to 1 odds. Following is the house edge of each bet:

  • Banker: 1.06%.
  • Player: 1.24%.
  • Tie: 14.44%.

Casino War

casino-wars.png.jpg
Casino Wars

For some reason, 1X2 makes the title of this game plural -- Casino Wars. However, the usual Casino War rules are followed. Sorry, no bonus for a war after a war. This makes the house edge 2.88% on the Ante wager, assuming the player goes to war on a tie, which he should. The house edge on the War bet is 18.65% (ouch!).

Three Card Poker

three-card-poker.png.jpg
Three Card Poker

Here are the pay tables used by 1X2 in Three Card Poker:

  • Ante bonus: 1-4-5
  • Pairplus: 1-4-6-30-40

That makes the house edge as follows:

  • Ante: 3.37%.
  • Pair plus: 2.32%.

The help file claims that six decks are used, but I very strongly believe this to be in error. I have never once in my life seen Three Card Poker played with anything other than a single 52-card deck. Furthermore, I played through many hands and never once saw the same card twice in the same game.

Blackjack Bonus
basic_strategy.jpg
Basic strategy card

The three blackjack games I'm aware of are:

  • Blackjack
  • Red Queen Blackjack
  • Bonus Blackjack

The rules common to all three are:

  • Six decks
  • Dealer stands on soft 17.
  • Dealer peeks for blackjack.
  • Double after split allowed.
  • Player may split only one time.
  • No surrender.
  • No draw to split aces.

Using my blackjack house edge calculator, I get a house edge of 0.46%.

But wait, it gets better. Red Queen Blackjack increases the win for a winning blackjack with a red queen to 2 to 1. Bonus Blackjack does the same thing, except for a blackjack with a black jack. Both lower the house edge by 0.28%. So those two blackjack games would have a house edge of a nice low 0.18%. It doesn't get much better than that anymore.

Blackjack Player's Choice

blackjack-players-choice.png.jpg
Blackjack Player's Choice

Blackjack Player's Choice is a blackjack variant I've never seen before. Here is the gist of it:

  • Player can accept or reject his first starting hand, based on seeing the first card only. If the player rejects it, then he must keep the second one.
  • The player can hit or stand only.
  • The dealer will keep drawing until he either beats the player or ties the player with 18 or more.
  • In the event of a tie, the player loses half.
  • A winning blackjack pays 6 to 5.
  • Eight decks are used.

According to the help file, the expected return is 98.37% with optimal strategy, whatever that is.

Caribbean Stud Poker

1X2 follows the usual 1-2-3-4-5-7-20-50-100 Caribbean Stud Poker pay table, for a house edge of 5.22%. Strangely, there is no side bet.

  • Red Dragon: 95.70%
  • Legendlore: 94.55%
  • Yule be Rich: 95.31%
  • Halloween Horrors: 96.26%

Virtual sports I think is 1X2's greatest strength. At the time of this writing, they have 19 sports to choose from. With all of them, there are a host of ways to bet. Sports like tennis offer in-progress betting. The animation of the games is rather short and simple, except the racing games, which are quite well done. Race or matches happen every two minutes or so.

In terms of the odds, an average return can be easily calculated if we assume every choice for a given bet has the same return. Under that assumption, bets with two choices have a return of about 93.5%. For three choices, which is common in soccer, the return strangely goes up to 96.7%. For horse racing game, with several choice for the horse to win, the average return drops to about 88.8%.

Poker Dice

poker-dice.png.jpg
Poker dice

Poker Dice is simple dice game that pays based on the poker value of five poker dice. One problem I have with this game is the rules don't state what a "Golden Royal" and "Golden Straight" are. I asked the Pobeda casino support, who offer this game, about it. Here is what they wrote back:

"Hello! Throw off you a link to the official story about this game, there are rules of the game: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_dice."

Who wrote that, Borat? Of course, the Wikipedia link didn't answer the question either. One of these days I hope to find someone in casino support, of any Internet casino, who knows anything about their own rules.

Based on my investigation into the matter, I have concluded that a Golden Royal is a sequential and ascending straight to the ace. I guess there is a specific way they order the dice. A Golden Straight is a sequential and ascending straight to the king. Dice that are in the correct order are shown in a golden color.

Given their pay table, the return is 96.63%.

Treasure Tomb

treasure-tomb.png.jpg
Treasure Tomb

Treasure Tomb is a simple game of chance. Much like in the Indiana Jones movie, the object is to cross a hallway where each step will either bring you more riches or death. There are a variety of ways to be killed, so all due credit to the game designers and artists for creativity. According to my analysis, the house edge is 5.21%.

For more information, please see my page on Treasure Tomb.

Race the Ace

race-the-ace.png.jpg
Race the Ace

This is another unique game to 1X2, as far as I know. It is a racing game where four aces advance towards a finish line according to the suit of cards drawn from the remaining 48 cards, until there is a winner. The player may or may not burn seven cards before the race, which are revealed to the player. If the player chooses not to seem them, then the expected return on all four suits is 93.75%. If the player chooses to reveal the first seven cards, then the return will range from 50.71% to 97.26%, depending on the bet and the distribution of suits removed.

For all the details, including an analysis of every betting scenario, please visit my page on Race the Ace.

Darts 180

darts_180.png.jpg
Darts 180

Darts 180 is a game of chance based on throwing three darts at a dart board. The player is paid according to his total points. Wins range from 1/2 to 1000x the bet amount. The rules don't say the probabilities for each number of points per dart, or in total. So, we'll have to take the help file at its word, which says, "The minimum theoretical Return to Player for this game is 95.3%.

Super Rally Championship Hi Lo

super-rally-championship-high-low.png.jpg
Super Rally Championship Hi Lo

Super Rally Championship Hi Lo is another game exclusive to 1X2 Gaming, as far as I know. The object is to choose whether a random number from 1 to 14 will be higher or lower than the previous one. If the player gets 20 picks correct, then he finishes the race.

The expected return ranges from 95% to 97.60%, depending on how far the player tries to get. The further he gets, the more bonuses he earns. For all the rules and analysis, please visit my page on Super Rally Championship Hi Lo.

Penalty Shootout

Here is another simple game of chance by 1X2. The player bets on whether each of five players will make or miss a penalty kick in soccer. Assuming the house edge is the same either way, I put it at about 96%.

I don't think I'll be able to get the music from this game out of my head for days.
