Introduction

Asia Live Tech is an online betting software developer that offers casino solutions to casino operators in the Asian market. The group has decided to specialize in live dealer betting services, which sees games broadcast from studios right to your home screen. The group offers popular games in the region, including baccarat, Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger, Fan Tan, and more.

The developer has been working to specialize in cryptocurrencies, which allows punters to skirt some financial regulations in order to actually be able to gamble. The technology sees casinos able to translate the crypto funds to a local currency, be played, and end up able to withdraw funds in crypto once again.

Asia Live Tech signs content deals with casinos, who then integrate the titles in their library. We’re interested to see where this developer goes moving forward, as Asia is primed for a huge amount of growth in the next few years.

King Crab

King Crab

King Crab is the English translation of the Belangkai, as Asia Live Tech calls it. It's a simple game involving a Dreidel with four symbols. The odds offered look standard.

Baccarat

Baccarat Insurance

Baccarat

Baccarat is available with a host of side bets. Here is a list:

  • Egalities — The standard groupings. See the table below.
  • Ruby 8 — Same thing as the Panda 8.
  • Lucky 7 — Same thing as the Dragon 7
  • Player/Banker Bonus — Same thing as the Dragon Bonus.
  • Big and Small — They pay the standard 0.54 on Big and 1.5 on Small.

One type of table is called "Baccarat Insurance," where sometimes the player can make a side bet after the first four cards are dealt. For example, in the screenshot you can see the Player has a two-card 7 and the Banker has a two-card 5. The dealer can be seen showing up a sign with the number 4. This is a side bet on the Banker winning, which pays 4 to 1. The house edge on that particular situation is 15.23%.

There is another called Baccarat Squeeze, where the player can click at an image of a card to expose it. The way it works is the dealer deals the first four card normally. If a fifth or sixth card is to be drawn, the dealer keeps it face down for ten seconds and the player can click at an image of the back side of the card to peek at it.

As always, my advice is to stick to the Player and Banker bets, preferably the Banker, and leave all the side bets alone.

Sic Bo

sic bo

The sic bo odds are very stingy, with a house edge up to 47.2% (ouch!). I advise you to stick to the big and small bets only, if you must play. The following table shows what each bet pays, the probability of winning, and house edge.

Sic Bo Return Table

Bet Pays Combinations Probability House Edge

Fan Tan

fan tan

Asia Live Tech is one of the few brands to offer fan tan. Judging by the screenshot, betting seems to based on a table at a real casino somewhere. The bets all seem pretty standard.

I did notice an announcement at the top of the screen that a game earlier in the week was voided because there were fewer than 40 "beans." I did not know that was a rule, but I applaud disclosing publicly.

Shake the Plate

Shake the Plate

Asia Live Tech also offers the seldom-seen game Shake the Plate, which they refer to by the Vietnamese name, Xoc Dia. The following table shows the pays and house edge of the bets offered.

Odd reds 0.97 8 50.00% 1.50%

Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger offers some side bets I've never seen before, two red, two black, and one of each color. The bets on two cards of the same color would obviously be very countable (shut up Wiz!).

Roulette

Roulette

The roulette game is on a single-zero wheel, which results in a 2.78% house edge on every bet.
