Introduction

Oriental Game is a casino game developer that’s focused on the growing Asian online market. The company has a base of operations out of the Philippines, and the group is one of the few online companies that is certified by PAGCOR, which is the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.

Unlike most companies that develop games, Oriental doesn’t focus solely on slot machines and basic table games, instead looking to offer live dealer table games as their primary product. Punters will have the option of playing blackjack, baccarat, poker, craps, roulette, and more. The games are all developed in HTML5 format, with compatibility on both desktop and mobile devices brought to customers.

While the company is based in the Philippines, Oriental Game does service punters throughout other regions of the world. The company can support players that speak Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, and English.

Oriental Game’s biggest product is their Multi-Camera Baccarat. The game is uber-popular in Asia, and this version features seven cameras that show the action from the best angle. Combined with their other games, Oriental is positioned as being a quality service provider in an industry that’s likely to grow by leaps and bounds in the coming years.

At the time of this writing, Oriental Game offered five live games, as listed below. A couple of them are very difficult to find in western casinos -- Dragon Tiger and Fan Tan. The odds vary all over the place from a low of 1.06% on the Banker bet in baccarat to a high of 47.22% on the 5 and 16 bets in Sic Bo. So, don't be too distracted by the lovely dealers and be very careful with your bet selection.

Baccarat

Baccarat

At the time of this review, there were several baccarat tables to choose from, all staffed by lovely Philippine girls. The baccarat rules were very standard with just the major bets, as follows. House edge is shown in parenthesis.

  • Player: 1.24%
  • Banker: 1.06%
  • Tie: 14.36%
  • Player/Banker Pair: 10.36%

Roulette

Roulette

The roulette game is played on a single-zero wheel. Even with a translator, I couldn't find the rules anywhere but I presume that even money bets lose all if the ball lands in zero. If true, the house edge on every bet would be 2.70%.

Sic Bo

Sic Bo

The Sic Bo offered terrible odds. The worst I have ever seen. Here is what the various bets pay and the house edge.

Fan Tan

Fan Tan

The fan tan game seemed to follow the standard rules and pays, which can be found on my page for that game.

Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger

The Dragon Tiger game seemed to follow the standard rules and pays. I presume the bets on the Dragon and Tiger lose half on a tie, but couldn't find any actual rules. Assuming that to be true, the house edge on the Dragon and Tiger is 3.73%. The Tie bet pays a stingy, yet standard, 8 to 1, for a house edge of 32.77% (ouch!).

Live Dealers

The Oriental Game dealers are all beautiful Philippine girls with a very consistent kind of look and demeanor. They are all dressed in what look like Playboy Club outfits, minus the rabbit ears and puffy tail. Suffice it to say the eye candy factor with Oriental Games is very high.
