Wheel of Fortune

Introduction

The name Wheel of Fortune generally refers to a casino game with a large vertical with dollars or symbols on it. Players then bet on which denomination or symbol the wheel will stop on. I address this game in my page on Big Six, which is the traditional name.

This page shall address a similar game specifically called Wheel of Fortune. It is also played on a large vertical wheel but with 18 numbered positions plus one more with a trophy. The 18 numbers are also divided into three colors of six numbers each.

Wheel of Fortune can be found at some Internet sports books with a live dealer casino feature.

Rules

  1. The game uses a vertical wheel with 19 stops.
  2. 18 of the stops are numbered 1 to 18. The 19th stop has a picture of a trophy.
  3. The numbers 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 are colored black.
  4. The numbers 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17 are colored grey.
  5. The numbers 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 are colored red.
  6. There are a host of bets the player can make listed below.

Analysis

The following table shows the available bets, payout odds, number on wheel, probability of winning and return under the Las Vegas rules Big Six rules. Wins shown are on a "for one" basis, meaning the player does not also get his original bet back on a win.

More Screenshots

I suspect a major reason people play this game is for the lovely dealers. That said, here are some more screenshots of them.
