Caveman Keno

Introduction

Caveman keno is the same as conventional keno except the game chooses three numbers before the draw and if at least two of them match the 20 numbers drawn then the player will win a multiplier.

Rules

 

1. The player chooses from two to ten numbers, ranging from 1 to 80, as in regular keno.
2. The computer will draw three three numbers at random among the numbers the player did not pick. These three numbers will be marked with dinosaur eggs.
3. The computer will then draw 20 numbers, ranging from 1 to 80, as in regular keno.
4. The player will win depending in part on the number of the player's picks that match the 20 numbers chosen by the computer, as in regular keno.
5. The player will get a multiplier according to the number of eggs that match the 20-ball draw. The usual multipliers are 1x for 0 or 1 match, 4x for two matches, and either 8x or 10x for three matches. Usually 8x.
6. The player's win will be the product of the win according to the pay table and the multiplier.

 

Example

   

In the game above I picked five numbers — 2, 17, 23, 54, and 59. The game then placed eggs on 10, 47, and 62.

The 20-number draw matched two of my picks — 17 and 54. The draw also matched two eggs — 10 and 62.

My ten-credit bet paid 10 credits for catching two out of five. For catching two eggs I won a multiplier of 4x. So, my final win was 4 × 10 = 40 credits.
