Apollo Games Software & 17 Online Casinos Reviewed

Introduction
Apollo Games is a slot developer based in Prague, with a Maltese company licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority to supply games to casinos. It is still releasing new titles and exhibiting at trade shows, and its games run at regulated casinos in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Greece and the Baltic states.
Apollo lists 93 slot and crash games. Nearly all are slots, heavy on classic fruit machines, jokers and sevens; the exception is a single multiplayer crash game. This review covers the 18 slots for which Apollo publishes both a full pay table and the stake that table was shown at, which is what it takes to state every prize as a multiple of your bet.
Every prize in this review is a multiple of the total bet, not the line bet. A prize of 10 means ten times what you staked on the spin.
The single most important fact about Apollo is how it reports return to player. It does not give one RTP per game. It gives a range, and that range decides more about your results than anything in the pay tables.
The games themselves are the kind found in arcades and gaming halls across Central Europe: fruit symbols, sevens, bells and jokers on simple grids, often with only five lines, alongside a smaller number of themed video slots with free spins and expanding wilds. That simplicity makes the pay tables easy to compare, and comparing them turns up something useful. Several Apollo games that look different on screen print exactly the same prizes, and this review groups them so you can see when a new theme is not new math.
The review closes each section with what the numbers mean for your choice of game, and the comparison tables rank all 18 by the worst RTP setting a casino is allowed to choose, because that worst case is what you face whenever you cannot check.

Apollo is a slot studio. Its catalogue has no blackjack, baccarat, craps or poker-based table games, so there is nothing in this category to analyze.

Why Apollo Lists an RTP Range
Every RTP figure in this review is provider-reported: it comes from Apollo's own product pages. A slot's RTP cannot be calculated independently without its reel strips, which Apollo does not publish, so these are the best figures available.
Apollo's product pages list 73 of its 93 games at 85% to 99%. Eight newer releases list a narrower 91% to 97%. Eight list no figure at all, and the remaining four list a single number or a different range.
A range on a slot's spec sheet means the game exists in more than one mathematical version, each with its own return, and the casino chooses which version to run. The pay table you see is normally the same in every version. What changes is how often the symbols land, which you cannot see. The only way to know which version a particular casino runs is to open the game's help screen there, which states the RTP of the build in play.
Here is what the settings mean in money. These are long-run averages per €100 wagered.
Expected Loss by RTP Setting
| RTP setting | Expected loss per €100 wagered |
|---|---|
| 99% | €1 |
| 97% | €3 |
| 91% | €9 |
| 85% | €15 |
| 75% | €25 |
At the bottom of Apollo's usual range you should expect to lose 15 times as much as at the top. For the newer games with the narrower range, the worst setting costs 3 times as much as the best. Two casinos offering the same Apollo game can be offering very different bets, so check the help screen before you play.

The top prize column is the largest single prize in the pay table before any wild or feature multiplier. A bigger top prize does not mean a higher return. It usually means more of the return is concentrated in rare hits.
Five-Line Classics: Golden Treasure, Sizzle Fire and Win and Race
Golden Treasure and Sizzle Fire are traditional five-reel, five-line fruit machines with a scatter that pays anywhere. Their pay tables are identical except for one prize: five sevens pay 1000 in Golden Treasure and 500 in Sizzle Fire. Every other symbol, and the scatter, pays the same in both games.
Golden Treasure (scatter: treasure chest)

Golden Treasure Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seven | 1000 | 200 | 20 | |
| Melon | 100 | 40 | 10 | |
| Grapes | 100 | 40 | 10 | |

| Cherries | 40 | 10 | 4 | 1 |
| Scatter | 50 | 10 | 2 |
Sizzle Fire (scatter: star)

Sizzle Fire Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seven | 500 | 200 | 20 | |
| Melon | 100 | 40 | 10 | |
| Grapes | 100 | 40 | 10 | |
| Plum | 40 | 10 | 4 | |
| Lemon | 40 | 10 | 4 | |
| Orange | 40 | 10 | 4 | |
| Cherries | 40 | 10 | 4 | 1 |
| Scatter | 50 | 10 | 2 |
On paper Golden Treasure looks strictly better, since one prize doubles and nothing else moves. Do not read too much into that. The pay table is only half of a slot's math. The other half is the reel strips, which are not published, and the RTP setting the casino chose matters far more than a five-seven hit you may never see. If both games are available, pick whichever help screen shows the higher RTP.
Win and Race is a five-line racing theme with two trophy symbols at the top. The pay screen marks the silver trophy "8x bonus" and the gold trophy "15x bonus" without explaining further, so check the help screen for what those trigger.

Win and Race Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold trophy | 1000 | 500 | 10 |
| Silver trophy | 500 | 250 | 5 |
| Champagne | 150 | 25 | 5 |
| Podium | 80 | 20 | 4 |
| Flags | 50 | 15 | 3 |
| Racing cars | 20 | 5 | 1 |
The four-trophy prizes are unusually steep here: four gold trophies pay half of what five do.
Expanding Wilds: Rich Fish, Blood and Pandora
These three five-line games print the same prize ladder, symbol for symbol, under different art.
Rich Fish, Blood and Pandora Pay Table
| Rich Fish | Blood | Pandora | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lionfish | Vampire | Pandora's box | 500 | 128 | 16 | 8 |
| Turtle | Bat | Pandora | 256 | 32 | 12 | 6 |
| Butterflyfish | Bride | Hephaistos | 128 | 16 | 8 | 4 |
| Jellyfish | Coffin | Cerberus | 64 | 12 | 6 | 3 |
| Crab | Heart | Sphinx | 32 | 8 | 4 | |
| Seahorse, Starfish | Cross, Garlic | Vase, Lyre | 16 | 6 | 3 | |
| A, K | A, K | A, K | 8 | 4 | 2 | |
| J, Q | J, Q | J, Q | 4 | 2 | 1 |
Rich Fish and Blood go further than sharing a pay table. Both use a wild that expands to fill its whole reel, and both use marked card symbols to apply a 3x, 4x or 5x multiplier to the win. As far as anything published shows, they are the same game in different costumes.

Pandora keeps the ladder but swaps the mechanics. Hades is a chained wild that replaces everything except the key, and a combination of the box and the key pays anywhere from 8 to 105.

Joker Games: Bonus Joker, Bonus Joker II, Smiling Joker and Smiling Joker II
All four are three-reel, three-row fruit machines.
Smiling Joker and Smiling Joker II pay three of a kind across 27 lines, and their prizes are identical. The sequel adds colossal symbols.

Smiling Joker and Smiling Joker II Pay Table
| Symbol | 3 of a kind |
|---|---|
| Joker | 10 |
| Melon | 8 |
| Grapes | 5 |
| Plum | 5 |
| Orange | 2 |
| Lemon | 2 |
| Cherries | 1 |
The prizes are small: a single winning line returns at most 10 times the bet. A screen full of Jokers in Smiling Joker II would hit all 27 lines at 10 each, for 270 times the bet. Apollo states that game's maximum win as 272 times the bet, which is consistent.
Bonus Joker and Bonus Joker II pay across five lines.

Bonus Joker and Bonus Joker II Pay Tables
| Symbol | Bonus Joker | Bonus Joker II |
|---|---|---|
| Joker | 150 | 72 |
| Sevens | 30 | 24 |
| Bells | 30 | 24 |
| Melon | 16 | 12 |
| Grapes | 16 | 12 |
| Bonus | 12 | 24 |
| Lemon | 8 | 4 |
| Orange | 8 | 4 |
| Cherries | 8 | 4 |
Prizes are for three of a kind. In Bonus Joker a single Joker also shows a 20 prize, printed in grey on the pay screen, which suggests it applies only in a special mode. In Bonus Joker II the Joker is wild, three Bonus symbols also award 5 to 15 bonus games, and in bonus mode a single Bonus symbol pays 8.
Every prize the two games share is lower in the sequel except the Bonus symbol, and the original's Joker pays more than twice the sequel's.
81-Line Four-Reel Games: Fiery Dice, Lucky 81, Midnight Fruits 81 and Occultum 81
These use four reels of three rows. With 81 lines, every left-to-right path through the grid counts, and only four of a kind pays.

81-Line Four-Reel Pay Tables
| Symbol | Fiery Dice | Midnight Fruits 81 | Lucky 81 | Occultum 81 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top symbol | 150 (wild) | 150 (wild) | 150 (81 symbol) | none |
| Seven | 10 | 50 | ||
| Melon | 10 | 10 | 10 | |
| Grapes | 2 | 10 | ||
| Bell | 10 | |||
| Crystal ball, Skull | 10 each | |||
| Plum | 2 | 2 | 2 | |
| Banana | 2 | |||
| Kiwi | 2 | |||
| Spell book, Cauldron | 2 each | |||
| Lemon | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
| Orange | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
| Cherries | 1 | 1 | 1 | |
| Potion, Rune stone, Horseshoe | 1 each |
Sorted by size, Fiery Dice and Midnight Fruits 81 print exactly the same eight prizes: 150, 10, 10, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1. Lucky 81 is that same set plus a seven paying 50. Occultum 81 is the same set without the top symbol, which looks thin until you notice that a line containing its blue wild pays double.
The smallest prize in all four just returns your stake. Fiery Dice also has dice scatters: three throw one die for 1 to 6 free spins, and four throw two dice for 2 to 12. Midnight Fruits 81 has a cash back bonus.
Here the RTP range settles the choice. Fiery Dice and Midnight Fruits 81 pay identically, but Fiery Dice's worst setting is 91% against 85% for Midnight Fruits 81. If you cannot check the help screen, Fiery Dice is the safer bet. If you can, take whichever shows the higher figure.
Video Slots: Aztec Mystery, Savage Lands and Synthy Fruzzy
Aztec Mystery pays across 30 lines.

Aztec Mystery Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wild | 30 | 10 | 2 | 0.6 |
| Frog idol | 1.6 | 0.8 | 0.4 | 0.2 |
| Gold skull | 1.4 | 0.8 | 0.4 | 0.2 |
| Seated idol | 1.4 | 0.8 | 0.4 | |
| Vase | 1.2 | 0.8 | 0.4 | |
| Dagger | 1 | 0.6 | 0.2 | |
| A, K | 0.8 | 0.4 | 0.2 | |
| J, Q | 0.6 | 0.4 | 0.2 |
Scatters pay 2 for counts of 7, 8 or 9 and award 8, 15 or 30 free spins. With 30 lines to fund, most line prizes here are smaller than the bet that produced them.
Savage Lands pays across 25 lines. Three to five Bonus symbols trigger the Hidden Reward feature, which hides free spins or cash prizes.

Savage Lands Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Demon | 40 | 10 | 4 |
| Dinosaur | 16 | 6 | 3 |
| Lion | 16 | 6 | 3 |
| A | 4 | 2 | 1 |
| K | 4 | 2 | 1 |
| Q | 3 | 1 | 0.4 |
| J | 3 | 1 | 0.4 |
Synthy Fruzzy pays across 20 lines. Each wild on a winning line doubles the win, and three to five Bonus symbols award 10 free spins.

Synthy Fruzzy Pay Table
| Symbol | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seven | 200 | 60 | 40 | 20 |
| Bell | 80 | 32 | 16 | 8 |
| BAR | 32 | 16 | 8 | |
| Melon | 24 | 8 | 4 | |
| Grapes | 16 | 6 | 2 | |
| Plum | 16 | 6 | 2 | |
| Lemon | 8 | 4 | 1 | |
| Orange | 8 | 4 | 1 | |
| Strawberry | 4 | 2 | 1 | |
| Cherries | 4 | 2 | 1 |
Two sevens paying 20 times the bet is a big prize for a two-symbol hit; for the game to stay inside its RTP, sevens have to be scarce. All three of these games carry the narrower 91% to 97% range, so their worst case is better than the classics above.
Magic Lady: The One to Avoid
Magic Lady is a nine-reel fruit game that pays according to how many matching symbols land, from four up to nine. The Magic Lady symbol substitutes for everything and adds 7 bonus spins.

Magic Lady Pay Table
| Symbol | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seven | 4000 | 1200 | 600 | 200 | 80 | 40 |
| BAR, Melon | 2000 | 600 | 300 | 100 | 40 | 20 |
| Grapes, Plum | 800 | 300 | 160 | 60 | 28 | 12 |
| Lemon, Orange | 400 | 200 | 80 | 40 | 20 | 8 |
| Cherries | 100 | 50 | 30 | 20 | 10 | 4 |
The 4000 top prize is the largest in this review, and it is bait. Apollo's own product page lists Magic Lady at 75%, the only fixed figure among these 18 games. That means an expected loss of €25 per €100 wagered: 25 times the cost of a 99% setting, and €10 more per €100 than the very bottom of Apollo's usual range. Unless the casino's help screen shows a higher figure, play something else.
Conclusion
Apollo makes old-fashioned slots: fruit, sevens, jokers, five lines or 81 lines, with pay tables that are easy to read once converted into multiples of the bet. Several games share one pay table under different art, and the review points those out so you do not mistake a new theme for new math.
Where Apollo falls short is transparency. Almost every game ships with a choice of RTP settings that runs from 85% to 99%, and the casino, not the player, makes the choice. That spread is worth 15 times the expected loss from top to bottom. The help screen at your casino is the only place to see which version you are playing, and with Apollo it is worth the ten seconds every time.
If you cannot check, the three games with the 91% to 97% range, Synthy Fruzzy, Fiery Dice and Savage Lands, have the best worst case. Avoid Magic Lady at its listed 75%.
