Week 13 of the National Football League was filled with close games and upsets to along with all that turkey and those 3 games on Thanksgiving. This was a close game that was won at the very end with an Eddie Jackson interception that iced the contest. After losing 4 games in a row the Chicago Bears have now won 3 out of 4 games, and they are still in the NFC playoff picture as of now. The Bears have a huge game coming up this Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys were simply outplayed in this game on Thanksgiving. The Buffalo Bills continue to win as they are now 9 and 3, and are looking a lot like a playoff team. The Cowboys who have one of the best offenses in the NFL struggled to put up points against the underrated Buffalo Bills. Cole Beasley had a great game with 110 yards and a touchdown off of his 6 receptions. The Bills have a really tough game against the red hot Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. Hopefully that will be an outstanding game to take in.

He also had a 30 yard touchdown run as the Saints beat the Atlanta Falcons 26 to 18. Their next game against the San Francisco 49ers will not be as easy. The Titans blocked a potential go ahead field goal late in the game, and they returned it for a touchdown turning around the game and possibly their season. Derrick Henry played very well last Sunday with 149 yards rushing as well as a touchdown run. Tennessee finds themselves only one game back of the Houston Texans who lead the AFC South division.

The Philadelphia Eagles continue to struggle even against a poor opponent like the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins executed a trick play and it is the first time even a punter threw a touchdown pass to a place kicker. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a spectacular performance as he went for 365 passing yards and three touchdown throws. DeVante Parker played really well too. He had 7 catches for 159 yards as well as a couple of touchdown receptions. The Eagles better sharpen up if they would like to compete for a coveted playoff spot this season.

Aaron Rodgers threw 4 touchdown passes in the snowy weather conditions at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Allen Lazard put up over 100 yards and a touchdown catch too. Green Bay continues to enjoy a slim lead of the NFC North division with the Minnesota Vikings right behind them.

James Washington - PIT

4 REC, 111 YDS, 1 TD

The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled off a respectable win against the Cleveland Browns with their third string quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges. James Washington pulled in 4 receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. This time around these two teams behaved themselves as there was no follow up fighting like there was when these two teams faced each other a couple weeks ago or so. After an extremely slow start to this season the Pittsburgh Steelers have turned things around and now are happy to be at 7 and 5 as they fight for playoff contention. The Cleveland Browns are highly underperforming and their season is all but over now as they stand at 5 and 7 so far this year.

6 REC, 75 YDS, 1 TD

The Carolina Panthers are in trouble after this embarrassing loss to the Washington Redskins. Washington used a doubled headed rushing attack to put up points and control the game clock in this match up. Derrius Guice racked up 129 yards and two touchdown rushes, and Adrian Peterson ran for 99 yards and a TD. The Panthers may decide to go back to their star quarterback Cam Newton as long as he is healthy as Kyle Allen is not getting the job done for Carolina.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers converted turnovers by the Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback, Nick Foles, into touchdowns as the Buccaneers destroyed the Jacksonville Jaguars 28 to 11. This was an ugly game, and in my opinion both if these teams need to make some serious changes if they want to compete in the NFL in the future.

This was one of the best football games from the last weekend. Both teams played really well and the Baltimore Ravens won it on a field goal kick at the end of regulation by Justin Tucker. The Ravens have now extended their winning streak to 8 games which is a franchise record. Baltimore looks to be one of the best if not the best teams in the National Football League at the moment. Both the Ravens and the 49ers have tough games ahead of themselves this week as the Ravens play the Bills on the road, and the Niners play the Saints on the road.

The Los Angeles Rams offense actually turned things around last Sunday as they looked like how they did last season when they went to the Super Bowl. Jared Goff racked up an unbelievable 424 passing yards as well as two touchdown throws. Todd Gurley got after it on the ground with 95 rushing yards and a touchdown run as they Rams blew out the Arizona Cardinals with ease.

This was close game between two weak teams. The Denver Broncos won it on a last second 53 yard field goal by Brandon McManus, but that was after the Los Angeles Chargers gave them the game after a bad pass interference call. The Chargers keep finding ways to lose games, and Phillip Rivers continues to throw interceptions and turn the ball over. Rivers may be at the end of his rope in Los Angeles if these mistakes keep costing his team games.

The Kansas City Chiefs absolutely destroyed the Oakland Raiders, and they actually shinned on defense which is usually not their strong suit. Patrick Mahomes looks to be back to 100% as he tore up the Raiders defense. The Oakland Raiders have been taking steps backwards the last couple of weeks after they impressed a lot of people with a successful effort throughout the beginning of this NFL season. The Chiefs have a big time statement game this weekend when they match up against the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on the road.

The Houston Texans took advantage of a struggling New England Patriots offense as they defeated the Patriots 28 to 22 on Sunday Night Football. Deshaun Watson threw 3 touchdowns, and he caught one himself on a trick play that was extremely well executed by the Houston Texans. The Patriots are starting to show signs of weakness and vulnerability as they need to find ways to move the ball offensively and put up points on the board if they want to compete for another Super Bowl this year.

This was a close game dictated by momentum. It went back and forth with a handful of turnovers from both teams, but more of them came from the Minnesota Vikings. The game really changed during the third quarter when the Seattle Seahawks put up 17 unanswered points and took a commanding lead. The Vikings put up a valiant effort to climb back in the game, but they were unable to complete the comeback at the very end of regulation. Seattle took over first place from the San Francisco 49ers as they have the tie breaker at the moment.
