Live Slots
Internet gambling with a live dealer is becoming more and more popular. At the time of this writing in early 2020, we count 15 different providers of just live dealer baccarat. Although gambling on virtual slots has been possible since the beginning of Internet gambling in 1994, an actual physical machine has never been involved, until now.
For purposes of this article, we are defining a "live slot machine" and all similar variants as a physical machine that can be played online. This will not count virtual slot machines offered by a brand that mainly does live dealer gaming.
That said, at the time of this writing in February 2020, the only provider of live slots we are aware of is Softweave. As far as we know, the only Internet casino using their service is the Hard Rock Online Casino, available in the state of New Jersey only.
The way it works is a camera is installed outside of a specific slot machine. There is also a device inside the machine to spin the reels when the user makes a bet and transmit the outcome.
According to the Hard Rock web site, the following games are available as Live Slots.

- Hotter than Blazes
- Double 3x4x5x Times Pays
Unfortunately, no information is provided that I'm aware of about the return of these games.
