Lucky 7

Introduction

Lucky 7 is a lottery-based game found as a live-dealer game at Internet casinos using software by betgames.tv. The game is based on a draw of seven out of 42 balls.

Rules

1. Every five minutes a lovely dealer will appear to draw seven balls out of 42 from a large hopper full of balls.
2. Half the balls are black and the other half are yellow.
3. There are a host of bets the player may make on the ball draw, as shown in the following list. Pays are on a "for one" basis.

Analysis

The following table shows all the available bets, what they pay, the number of winning combinations out of 26,978,328, the probability of winning, and the return to the player. All wins are on a "for one" basis, meaning this is the total amount a winning bet will get back. Bets on a particular color may be made on yellow or black. To keep the table as short as possible, I listed each such bet once only and used the phase "chosen color" to mean the player may make this bet on yellow or black.
