Introduction

Eyecon is an online casino game developer that has longer roots than you may think. The company was founded in 1997 as a computer game company. The company scored a hit with the game Gore, but the company found a niche in the casino industry when they began developing games of chance beginning in 1999. The release of games like Temple of Isis saw the company score another big hit, and development in the industry has continued ever since.

Today, Eyecon has offices in Brisbane, Australia as well as Guernsey (which is a British island that sits off the coast of France). The company has more than 60 different betting games that they’ve developed as of the publication of this article, which include slots, table games, bingo, and lottery style titles. If you look at the games from a visual standpoint, Eyecon’s titles are fantastic, as the production values are very high. Features are no slouch either, as the games perform well and are comparable to what you see from other major developers.

Eyecon holds gaming licenses from both Alderney and the United Kingdom, meaning that they can offer their titles throughout most of Europe, which is one of the largest markets for online betting. Additionally, the company has partnered with major betting groups like 888 Holdings, Bede, Playtech, and more to distribute titles, which give them a large reach.

Eyecon must have the cutest slot machines on the market. I think they were designed for a demographic under the age of two. Playing them seemed to hypnotize me into a unicorn blissful place I haven't been since the Teletubbies were canceled.

The features are pretty basic -- free spins, scatters, maybe a "pick an icon" bonus. Certainly nothing mentally challenging to understand.

Some of the games indicate a return percentage, which are all close to 95%. Here are some I gathered:

  • Piggy Payout — 94.9%
  • Happy Mushroom — 95.0%
  • Beez Kneez — 95.3%
  • Unicorn Bliss — 94.9%

So, grab your favorite Fluffy pink elephant toy and hopefully you'll have some Howling Fun on a Jewel Journey to the Kingdom of Cash.

Hit Me Baccarat

Hit Me Baccarat

All due credit to Eyecon for trying something new in table games. The only game they have besides slots is a baccarat variant I've never seen before called Hit Me Baccarat. It plays like conventional baccarat, but if the player loses on the Player or Banker bet, he can make a side bet that an additional card will result in a win. The odds depend on the points in the winning hand.

According to my math, the house edge ranges from 8.46% to 24.04%. Please see my page on the game for more information.
