Logic Puzzle Question

Alex, Bob, Charlie,Derek and some supplies are on one side of the river. They weigh as follows:

Alex = 90 kg.

Bob = 80 kg.

Charlie = 60 kg.

Derek = 40 kg.

Supplies = 20 kg.

They have a boat that can carry up to 100 kg. How do they get everyone across?

1. Despite advocating against slavery, Jefferson owned over 600 slaves.
2. Jefferson’s gave is inscribed with his three proudest achievements – authoring the Declaration of Independence, drafting the Virginia Statute of Religious Freedom and founding the University of Virginia. Absent from the list is being president.
3. Jefferson was a member of the “Flat Hat Club” at the College of William & Mary. This is considered the first fraternity in the US.
4. Jefferson had six children, although two survived to adulthood only.
5. DNA evidence has shown that Jefferson or one of his close relatives fathered children with his slave Sally Hemings.
6. Jefferson is one of four presidents to have a state capital named after him, Jefferson City Missouri. The other three are Lincoln (Nebraska), Jackson (Mississippi) and Madison (Wisconsin).
7. Jefferson was an architect, designing his own home (Monticello), the state capitol building in Richmond and the University of Virginia.
8. Jefferson was a wine enthusiast, importing large quantities of wine from Europe and had two vineyards at his estate at Monticello.
9. Jefferson had a large book collection. When the British burned down the Library of Congress in the War of 1812, he sold his collection to the Library to replace the burned books.
10. Jefferson was a skilled musician at the violin.
11. Jefferson declared war in north Africa, known as the First Barbary War. It was the first foreign war fought by the US.
12. Besides the Lewis and Clark expedition, Jefferson organized three other expeditions of the western US.
