World Match is an online betting software developer that was founded in 2000. The company has developed more than 200 games since their launch, and are a bit different in the fact that they supply an array of different games. You’ll find World Match slots, table games, and video poker machines, which flies in the face of a lot of different developers, who stick to lucrative slots.
World Match is based out of Italy, and they work only with operators that hold gaming licenses in regulated jurisdictions. The company has signed multiple software agreements over the past few years, showing that they’re serious about extending their reach in a growing online gaming market. It’ll certainly be interesting to see where they’re going in the time ahead of us.

Hi Lo is a simple game of predicting whether a random card will higher or lower than a face-up card. Unlike in other presentations of this game, at WM the player may choose from among three face up cards to bet on. The following table shows the pay table, probability of winning, and expected return for all available bets.

Baccarat
baccarat
punto banco privee
The World Match web site indicates six different baccarat and punto banco games to choose from, but they all appear the same mathematically. Each is about as simple as the game gets with the three essential bets only at the usual pays. Following is what each bet pays and the house edge.
Banker — Pays 0.95 to 1 — 1.06% house edge.
Player — Pays 1 to 1 — 1.24% house edge.
Tie — Pays 8 to 1 — 14.44% house edge.

W Ruleta
At the time of this review (November 2020), WM had 12 roulette games to choose from. However, mathematically, they boil down to either single-zero or double-zero roulette. The house edge is 2.78% on all single-zero wheels and 5.26% (except the 0-00-1-2-3 combination at 7.89%) on all double zero wheels.
Video Poker
World Match has nicely done video poker, graphically speaking, but the demo games don't indicate the pay tables. Other than the names of the games, they provide no information about what you're playing. For example, what is "The Saloon?" I have no idea. They do at least provide the game returns, which are as follows:
All American — 96.33%
Joker Poker Aces — 94.65%
Double Joker Poker — 96.7%
Double Bonus — 98.56%
Tens or Better — 97.85%
Mega Jack — 92.57%
The Saloon — 98.2%
Jacks or Better — 94.59%
Deuces Wild — 94.64%
Aces & Faces — 95.24%
Super Las Vegas — 98.2%
Joker Poker (Kings or Better) — 95.7%
Finally, please look carefully at the following screenshot from Joker Poker (aces or better). Notice anything interesting?
The game is scoring A-3-4-6-Joker as a straight (Shut up Wiz!). Who knows if it makes this error in other games or exactly what situations this happens in. I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader. You can thank me later.
Slots
World Match slots are nicely done in terms of graphics, sound, and gameplay. Themes are on the soft side, like rainbows, Egypt, vampires, fruit, Vikings, 80's, Hercules and so on. The World Match web site has 123 to choose from, although I believe many to be skins of each other. It seems they do some in house and others are provided by outside game developers like Magic Dream, Octavian, and Nazionale Elettronica.
More importantly, the returns are kindly disclosed in the help files. These returns range from a low of 91.62% to a high of 98.48%, so be very careful which game you choose to play. Here are some returns I randomly sampled from the 123 games to choose from.
