Introduction
Amuzi Gaming is an online betting software developer that is based out of Belize and provides its games to a variety of online betting sites throughout the world. The developer was founded in 2011, and since its launch has been very coy about revealing any information regarding its structure, licenses, or independent auditing of its products, which is a major concern in an industry focused on transparency.
Amuzi offers both downloadable software and instant play games. The instant games are slots only. The look and quality of the instant play games is almost as good as the downloadable games. I must warn you that the download takes a very long time. I think the longest I've ever seen in this business. You will also have to go through a separate download for every individual game you want to play.
Slots seems to be the emphasis of Amuzi. By my count, the instant-play casino has 39 games and the download casino has 46. The slots are nice to look at and hypnotizing to play. However, they are similar to each other in design. Most are a basic three-row five-reel game with a free spin bonus round.
In all other areas Amuzi could stand to add more choice. Only two table games -- blackjack & roulette and four video poker games.
For a new company I must say that Amuzi is off to a good start. If they come out with more games, I think they could be a big player in the Internet casino business.
Video Poker
The video poker games are quite well done. I can't give many points for variety or generosity, but what games they do have play well.
Jackpot Poker is a progressive form of Jacks or Better. To calculate the return for any given jackpot size, take 94.97% plus 2.49% for every 5,000 coins in the meter. The break-even point is 14,111 coins in the meter.
Bonus Poker also has a progressive jackpot. The return on that is 94.61% plus 2.11% for every 5,000 coins in the meter. The break-even point is a meter of 12,765 coins.

Roulette
Roulette is stingy American double-zero style. The house edge on every bet is 5.26%, except the 0-00-1-2-3 combination at 7.89%.
Blackjack
The blackjack game has five spots with the following unusual set of rules:
- 10 decks
- Dealer peeks for blackjack
- Dealer stands on soft 17
- Player may double on any two cards
- Double after split allowed.
- Player may not re-split.
- Draw and double to split aces allowed.
Yes, this game has ten decks of cards. This isn't stated in the rules. I had to nag support three times for the information. In my 18 years studying gambling, I have never seen that before.
Using my blackjack house edge calculator, I get a house edge of 0.32%, by putting in eight decks, and adding 0.02% for the extra two decks.
Following is the basic strategy for these rules.
