Introduction

Now that the 2022 - 2023 National Basketball Association playoffs are underway below is a complete list of the NBA franchises involved in the NBA postseason with injury issues as of Thursday, April 20th, 2023. This list should help with placing any NBA sports bets over the next week.

Boston Celtics

• Danilo Gallinari - Power Forward - April 20th, 2023 - Out - Gallinari is out of Friday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks with a knee injury.

Brooklyn Nets

• Ben Simmons - Point Guard - March 29th, 2023 - Out – The Brooklyn Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn said Tuesday that Simmons is out for the season with back and knee injuries, but he isn't expected to require any surgeries this summer.

"Ben will not be joining us the rest of the year and through the playoffs," Vaughn stated. "After consulting with our doctors, multiple specialists, he's just going to begin a rehab program. Our doctors and the specialists feel and think that he'll have a full recovery so that starts now."

Cleveland Cavaliers

• Dylan Windler - Shooting Guard - April 20th, 2023 - Out - Windler of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been ruled out for Friday's Game 3 against the New York Knicks with a foot injury.
• Cedi Osman - Shooting Forward - April 20th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Osman is questionable for Game 3 against the New York Knicks on Friday due to a left ankle sprain.

Denver Nuggets

• Nikola Jokic - Center - April 20th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Jokic is probable for Friday's Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
• Collin Gillespie - Guard - April 9th, 2023 - Out - Gillespie won't play Sunday against the Sacramento Kings due to a leg injury.

Golden State Warriors

• Gary Payton II - Shotting Guard - April 19th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Payton is questionable for Game 3 against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday due to a general illness.
• Jordan Poole - Shotting Guard - April 19th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Poole is questionable for Thursday's Game 3 versus the Sacramento Kings due to an ankle injury.
• Andrew Wiggins - Shooting Forward - April 19th, 2023 - Day - To - Day -Wiggins is questionable for Game 3 against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday due to right shoulder soreness.
• Draymond Green - Power Forward - April 18th, 2023 - Out - Green has been suspended for Game 3 of the National Basketball Association Western Conference First - Round for, "Stepping on the chest of Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis."
• Andre Iguodala - Forward - April 12th, 2023 - Out - Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr, said Wednesday that Iguodala is out due to an injury to his wrist is, "ways off," from returning to their team line - up, and that his next update will come on April 21st, 2023.
• Ryan Rollins - Guard - February 6th, 2023 - Out

LA Clippers

• Kawhi Leonard - Shooting Forward - April 20th, 2023 - Out - Leonard is out for Thursday's game versus the Phoenix Suns due to a right knee sprain.
• Paul George - Forward - April 16th, 2023 - Out - George is expected to miss the entire first - round series against the Phoenix Suns due to a knee injury.

Memphis Grizzlies

• Ja Morant - Point Guard - April 19th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Morant has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 2 versus the Los Angeles Lakers with a hand contusion.
• Jake LaRavia - Forward - April 18th, 2023 - Out - LaRavia is out for Wednesday's game versus the Los Angeles Lakers with a calf injury.
• Steven Adams - Center - April 8th, 2023 - Out - Adams is out with a knee injury, and he will likely be sidelined throughout the entirety of the postseason.
• Brandon Clarke - Power Forward - March 4th, 2023 - Out - Clarke suffered a season - ending left - Achilles tear during Friday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

• Nikola Jovic - Forward - April 18th, 2023 - Out - Jovic has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Milwaukee Bucks with a back injury.
• Tyler Herro - Point Guard - April 18th, 2023 - Out - Herro mentioned on Tuesday that his surgery is on Friday, and that he expects to miss around 4 - to - 6 weeks with his current hand injury.

Milwaukee Bucks

• Wesley Matthews - Shooting Guard - April 20th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Matthews is out for Game 2 versus the Miami Heat on Wednesday due to a right calf strain.
• Giannis Antetokounmpo - Power Forward - April 20th, 2023 - Day - To - Day - Antetokounmpo will not play in Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat due to his current back injury.

Minnesota Timberwolves

• Naz Reid - Center - April 5th, 2023 - Out - The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Wednesday that Reid underwent successful surgery to repair a left - scaphoid fracture and will be sidelined infinitely as of now.

Phoenix Suns

• Cameron Payne - Point Guard - April 19th, 2023 - Out - Payne is questionable for Thursday's Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers due to back pain.

Sacramento Kings
