Introduction

"Dice" is a game of chance based on the roll of five dice. It can be found at Internet casinos using Betgames.tv live games. It should not be confused with another game called "Dice" by Gamesys software.

The game is offered by , a provider of live dealer games for Internet casinos.

Rules

1. Five ordinary six-sided dice are used.
2. The following bets are available:
   
   • Pair — At least two dice land on the same face. Wins consist of a pair, two pair, three of a kind, full house, four of a kind, and five of a kind. Wins pay 1.04.
   • Two Pair — Two distinct faces appear at least twice. Wins consist of a two pair and full house. Wins pay 3.5.
   • Three of a kind — At least three dice land on the same face. Wins consist of a three of a kind, full house, four of a kind, and five of a kind. Wins pay 4.45.
   • Sequence from 1 to 5 — The roll is 1,2,3,4,5. Wins pay 50.
   • Sequence from 2 to 6 — The roll is 2,3,4,5,6. Wins pay 50.
   • All different — All five dice land on a distinct face. Wins pay 10.
   • Full house — A distinct three of a kind and pair are rolled. Wins pay 23.
   • Four of a kind — At least four dice land on the same face. Wins consist of a four of a kind and five of a kind. Wins pay 40.
   • Five of a kind — All five dice land on the same face. Wins pay 500.
   • Chosen number will be rolled exactly twice — Wins pay 5
   • Chosen number will be rolled exactly three times — Wins pay 25
   • Chosen number will be rolled — Wins pay 1.55
   • Chosen number will not be rolled — Wins pay 2.35
   • Total under 17.5 — Wins pay 1.9
   • Total over 17.5 — Wins pay 1.9
   • Total under 13.5 — Wins pay 6.2
   • Total over 13.5 — Wins pay 1.12
   • Total under 21.5 — Wins pay 1.12
   • Total over 21.5 — Wins pay 6.2
   • Total under 10.5 — Wins pay 25
   • Total over 10.5 — Wins pay 1.01
   • Total under 24.5 — Wins pay 1.01
   • Total over 24.5 — Wins pay 25
   • More dice odd — Wins pay 1.9
   • More dice even — Wins pay 1.9
   • Exactly four odds — Wins pay 6
   • Exactly four evens — Wins pay 6
   • All odd — Wins pay 25
   • All even — Wins pay 25
3. All wins are on a "for one" basis, meaning the original bet is not returned on a win.

The following table shows my analysis of the bets on how many times a particular die face will appear among the five dice. The right column shows the maximum return is at 94.44% that a particular face will not be rolled.

The following table shows my analysis of the bets on the total among the five dice. The right column shows the maximum return is at 97.73% on over 10.5 as well as under 24.5, although it is hard to get excited about winning 1% of your amount wagered.

The following table shows my analysis of the odd and even bets. The right column shows the maximum return is at 95.00% on more odds and more evens.
