Ultimate Race 31

Question 1 - [00:04]

Michael: Hi, I am Michael Shackleford with the Wizard of Odds. I am at the 2014 Raving table game show at the Paris Casino in Las Vegas. And I am here with Rick and Owen who are going to demonstrate their game, Ultimate Race 31. Thanks guys. Can you tell me a little bit more about the game?

Rick: The idea of the game is to race to 31 or more in less cards than the dealer to win. So, if you are able to get the 31 or more in four cards, the dealer gets the 31 or more in five cards, you win. Ace is always 11. So, if the dealer doesn’t make 31, they crush out. Dealer got exactly 31, so it turns the last card sideways. So, it’s easy to distinguish that dealer has got exactly 31. Now it is a dead heat, four card, four card, but exactly 31 in a tiebreaker situation. Goes to exactly 31 first, otherwise it is the highest last card.

Question 2 - [00:57]

Michael: I see three betting spots on the table. A bonus, ante and the race. Can you tell me about each one a little bit please?

Rick: Race, you want to bet an equivalent amount to your ante bet. The ante is just starting bet, the bonus is your bonus bet. If you wanted to play with your own cards, it is your own hand for the bonus. The bonus, you have got an avenue of winning up to 50 to one on your original bet.

Question 3 - [01:19]

Michael: And how do I win the 50 to one?

Rick: That is the 50 to one is with the Ace, King, Queen, adds to 31, three cards, 50 to one. The other bonus is if you get three, four, or five cards and they equal to 31, then you get the bonus of five to one. You can sit down, get the concept of the game and in two or three hands, might get very very easy.

Michael: Thank you for showing me. That was Ultimate Race 31. Thanks guys.
