Michael: Hi, this is Michael Shackleford at the 2015 Cutting Edge Table Game Show at the Paris Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. And I’m here with Brian Birkenmeyer of Innovative Gaming Concepts with their game Next Step Blackjack. Hi Brian, can you tell me about the game please?
Brian: Next Step Blackjack is a very simple game, very fast and easy to deal and play. It’s standard Blackjack played as usual with an optional side wager. The player wins two ways, when the dealer has a Blackjack or when the player has a Blackjack. So, when the dealer has Blackjack, the player is going to get paid 3:1 on the side wager and the dealer Blackjack does not qualify to shake the dice. When the player has a Blackjack, they’re going to shake the dice. They’re trying to row a four dice total closest to 21. So, we pay anywhere on the 17 through 21 no matter what they’re making, at least 10:1 up to a 1,000:1.

Michael: All right. And what’s the most the player can win and how does he do it?
Brian: Okay, so the top prices paid a 1,000:1. And that happens when the player has an Ace, King of Hearts and they roll a 21-dice total.

Michael: And what does the math on the game look like?
Brian: This pay table right here is currently 13.82%, but we do have four different approved paid tables in Nevada and Mississippi all ranging anywhere from 6% up to 17%.
