I'm very picky about whom I recommend. Any casino advertising on this site must meet my strict standards for quality, and I've outright rejected about half the outfits which have tried to advertise here. My gambling directory is a list of information-oriented sites which are hand-picked by me; I don't participate in link trades.

But even among casinos approved for advertising and sites I list in the directory, not just anyone can display the "Recommended by the Wizard" logo on their site. That privilege is reserved for a very, very select few. Below I list the sites who are approved to use this logo. Any site displaying the "Recommended" logo which is not listed below, is doing so without our permission. Wherever you see our "Recommended", make sure it links back to this page, and that the site in question is indeed listed here. If you find a site falsely claiming that they're recommended, please let me know.

This page is brand-new as of Oct. 2005 so I'm just starting to add sites to it. I'm proud to announce the very first site to earn the use of the Recommended logo:

Bodog Online Casino. Bodog is one of the most reputable online outfits around. Their customer service is friendly and competent, and I've never heard of any complaints about payouts. I have personally met several of their key staff and visited one of their customer support call centers. It doesn't get much better than this online.
