I'm coming to Vegas soon and would very much like to buy you dinner to show my appreciation for your site. Are you available?
Thank you very much for the offer, it was very nice of you to ask. However, with a family and trying to make a living I just don't have the time, and I get asked too frequently. It is an unfortunate but necessary policy I have adopted.
Why did you create your site in the first place?
As someone interested in both gambling and
mathematics I see this web page as a great way to combine
my knowledge of both subjects, hopefully teaching people
something along the way. It has been my experience that
finding useful information about gambling on the Internet
has been like finding a needle in the haystack. To
address this problem I created my page to give the public
a single place to learn the odds behind all the major
casino games. The least I hope to teach is that math be
both fun and useful, and that applying it to the study of
gambling can save you a lot of lost money.
I can't get your JAVA games to work.
First make sure you have JAVA enabled on your
browser. In Internet Explorer click on view, then
Internet options, then the advanced tab, then make sure
JAVA JIT compiler enabled is checked. In Netscape click
on edit, then preferences, then click on the word
advanced and make sure enable JAVA is checked. If that is
not the issue I suspect you have your browser is
outdated. Just because a browser can run JAVA does not
mean it can run all JAVA. It is good practice to use a
browser that is no more than two years out of date.
Numerous people have been able to play the games so the
problem is not entirely on my end.
If you are using Windows XP and downloaded Service Pack 2 you may encounter problems running Java anywhere. You should reinstall Java by downloading the latest version at www.java.com.
I like the look of your site. Can I hire you to do one for me?
Thanks. Although I write the vast majority of the content the current design was created by Webstorm Media. Now Michael Bluejay of WebsiteHelpers.com has made many improvements and keeps things running. I am not available to hire for web site design, nor would you want to hire me for that.
